Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner – Ecommerce to join the Travel Money Group team.
You’ll be working closely with our Head of Customer – Marketing and Technology to manage and enhance our Ecommerce offering to create a friction-less customer experience across the business. This will include delivery of Travel Money Group’s largest Ecommerce project to bring a best-in-class online retail offering, while also enhancing Travel Money Group’s websites and mobile app.

Key Responsibilities:
Actively participate in product discovery activities
Contribute to the wider strategic vision, roadmap and growth opportunities for our business, with a focus on our Ecommerce offering
Work closely with stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
Construct and prioritise delivery processes to ensure that the development team is clear on what to work on next
Gather and document business (non-functional) and technical requirements
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with business strategy
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Lead the planning for product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionality timelines
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals
Research and analyse the market, the users, and the roadmap for the systems
Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Be available to assist where needed the customer support agents (eg customer reviews)
User acceptance testing of system upgrades and enhancements to ensure delivered solutions meet strict quality assurance standards, including thorough documentation of test scenarios and outcomes
Identify and quantify opportunities to improve the customer’s online experience
Build, maintain and facilitate training for front-line staff on Ecommerce systems, including release updates
Required Experience and Attributes:
Basic technical competency in use of web-based applications
Experience in one or more project management methodologies with a preference on agile (Scrum)
Ability to work with technical teams to translate requirements into solutions
Excellent problem solving, issue resolution and technical incident management
Proven experience in providing outstanding customer service to customers internal and external with a friendly approachable attitude
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all stakeholders, on all levels
Thrives in a collaborative environment
Can work autonomously, troubleshooting problems on your own
A highly organised nature with high attention to detail
