About the Opportunity
The Travel Junction (TTJ) provides Flight Centre Travel Group’s travel product to the global travel trade, through a range of connectivity solutions.
We are currently seeking a highly organised Operations Coordinator to assist with the management of daily business activities and administrative tasks, for an initial 9 month period to cover parental leave. This role may be based in either Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
The Operations Coordinator’s responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day management of business operations, case management, booking support, administrative duties, support escalations, and integration projects.
To be successful as an Operations Coordinator, you should be able to resolve problematic situations efficiently and have excellent communication and organisational skills. Ultimately, an outstanding Operations Coordinator should be able to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the TTJ business.
 
What you will be doing:
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across the TTJ Team and other key internal Flight Centre business units
Assist with strategic planning, periodic reporting, and customer relationship management
Assist with customer integration project management by creating assignments, tracking progress, resolving issues, tracking actions and tasks
Manage, communicate, and resolve customer service and product related items to achieve optimal customer experience driven outcomes
Assist customers with booking support and escalations
Preparing and maintaining standard operational process documents and sites
Manage and maintain all incoming Salesforce cases and escalations
Attendance at in and out of country meetings, conferences, educational trips, and training sessions
 
What you will need:
Previous experience and in-depth knowledge of the Travel and Tourism industry desirable
Intermediate knowledge of travel reservation/GDS/booking systems
Advanced/Intermediate Salesforce experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High degree of interpersonal skills and ability to interact at a high level
Dynamic, outgoing personality, self-motivated, resourceful, innovative, with a high degree of customer service
Data driven – comfortable at interpreting data and using data to deliver outcomes and improve processes
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
