About the Business
Global Land Supply is Flight Centre Travel Group’s global in-house product procurement and consolidation business, servicing a number of Flight Centre’s worldwide selling businesses including Retail, in-country support, Liberty Travel, GoGo Worldwide Vacations and Flight Centre Asia.
About the Opportunity
The Systems Change Management team collaborate with key business and technical personnel to implement customer-centric solutions. The Operations Analyst will work with Systems Support, the Product Management & Engineering team and vendor resources to research, evaluate, document, test and implement non-development solutions that enhance the value of Global Land Supply (GLS). Through these efforts, the Operations Analyst will help Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) leverage new and existing technologies to improve the efficiency of service delivery and the effectiveness of information analysis.
Location: Brisbane Head Office, South Bank
What You Will Be Doing:
Onboarding new systems into the GLS Systems Support Team
Platform release readiness to handover to the GLS Systems Support Team
Implementing business change (non-development)
Build and maintain strong Relationships
Showcases and training of the systems/ business changes to the relevant business & support teams
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert
Business Analyst tasks of ensuring the requirements of the customer/vendor and scope of the change/system are analysed, understood and documented
Implementation solutions are documented and handed over internally to BAU seamlessly
All configuration changes are tested, assessed for risk and documented
What You Will Need:
Minimum one years’ experience in an environment requiring:
Capture of information, active listening, etc
Dissemination of information via written communication
Organising and chairing meetings with business representatives
Exposure to travel systems (e.g. Sabre, HELiO, Calypso, ResMan, etc) in order to understand of the complexities of global booking systems
TravelBox systems knowledge highly desirable
Experience of large organisations and project environments with an understanding of the use of IT systems in business operations
Experience working as a representative of a system, process, or business, such that the candidate can be authoritative on a subject to peers and senior management
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Travel industry experience an advantage
