National Account Director (Inside Sales)

FCM Travel, one of Flight Centre Travel Group’s global corporate brands, is looking for a natural networker and proactive go-getter to join the FCM team as a National Account Director (Inside Sales).
About the role: The National Account Director is a key role sitting within the FCM sales team, supporting the large market brands of FCM Travel, Stage & Screen Travel and FCM Meetings & Events.
The role allows your natural networking and communication skills to shine as you strategically nurture customers through outbound, inbound, marketing and sales engagement.
The National Account Director supports the sales function through:
Engaging professionally with key contacts within target organisations
Communication via phone, email, marketing, virtual meetings, events etc
Conduct market research to obtain key points of contact and other relevant information to maintain an up to date database (Salesforce)
Communicating our products and services to effectively create interest with the customers to set meetings for the Business Development Managers
Key Performance Indicators:
Nurture prospective pipeline across Australia
Expectation is that you will achieve 95% touch rate across FCM target organisations every 90 days – this is tracked through Salesforce
Telephone calls to 30 targets per week
Creating new sales opportunities
Target of 20 appointments across AU per month
Tracking of Tasks:
All tasks will be tracked in Salesforce
Record all telephone calls and details of conversations in Salesforce contact record
Save all emails to BDM & customers to the account and contact records in Salesforce
Learning & Development:
Compass training modules (In-house online learning modules)
Team training sessions with product managers and subject matter experts
Shadow Senior Business Development Managers on customer meetings
