Job Description

Market Manager, West Coast – Remote, USA 
*Successful candidates must reside in California or Nevada 
Market Managers responsibility is to onboard, develop and maintain an assigned portfolio of connected products. You will be responsible for consistently using data specific to your market to ensure best net rate buying across our range of directly curated products. You will decide on activity, promotions and prioritization required to optimize sales and deliver on key performance indicators.
Accountabilities
Responsible for GPN’s competitive net pricing position, increasing our range of directly connected products, access to best rates including derived, package path and pre-buy rates. Proactively work towards reducing leakage on directly contracted products, work collaboratively the Distribution team on package curation.
Collaborate with internal businesses, key stakeholders and supplier partners to deliver product at a price that meet Global Partners customer needs.
Develop and sustain strong partner relationships by providing relevant data insights and high-quality consulting services to hotel partners (revenue management advice, marketing opportunities)
Build a portfolio of hotel partners by introducing prospective partners to GPN’s marketplace and facilitate their onboarding process
Working with all Leisure businesses as well as Procurements Streams team to ensure a collaborative approach to delivering on Global Procurement strategy & vision
Identify and execute new opportunities
Deliver globally a consistent approach to FIT procurement delivery
Supplier portal adoption and ongoing support
Product Availability
Preferencing & channeling strategy
Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders  
Working collaboratively alongside the Strategic, 3rd Party and Chains discipline
Maximize access to all available rate types

Qualifications
Deep understanding of wholesale product
Demonstrated ability to improve FCTG profit through supplier negotiations
Experience in supplier relations
Proven Leadership in Procurement discipline
Experience and knowledge of GPN strategies and processes
