The Groups Specialist will be responsible booking Destination Weddings and Social Gatherings for all new customers who await an amazing experience at destination. The Leisure Travel Groups Specialist will liaise and contract with our hotel suppliers to cultivate each customer’s memorable event and ensure all aspects of the Group are completed until departure.
We are looking for professionals who have a strong background in travel and sales. Liberty Travel offers a comprehensive and ongoing training program throughout the first year of your employment. There will be opportunities to take advantage of sponsored work conferences to different destinations around the world.
Requirements of a Groups Specialist:
Exemplary sales skills with a customer-oriented approach.  Target-driven, commission-focused, and proven history of high sales volume.
Well versed in booking Group travel Destination Weddings & Social Groups
Well versed in Caribbean and Mexico product
Ability to negotiate and work with Hotel Partners to secure the best product & terms for customers
Organizational Skills – You’ll have excellent administrative and organization skills
Intrapreneurial Skills – proven self- marketing strategies in place to assist in lead generation and group retention and growth.
Demonstrate ability to handle crises
Computer Skills
High level of service to each Group customer ensuring all components and service needs are meet for Group Leader and each guest traveling

The role is performed remotely in compliance with the Company’s Remote and Flexible Work Policy.
Salary: $40,000- $61,000
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $40,000-$61,000 depending on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location and performance. The annual salary range listed represents the total compensation package, excluding benefits, but which includes achievable commission and incentives.
