Job Description
Leisure & Audit Risk Analyst
As a member of the Leisure Risk and Audit team the Leisure Risk Analyst will be an expert in identifying key business risks and developing and deploying effective risk management strategies to minimize those risks.
The key outcomes of this role will be to operate and further develop the risk-based audit program and centralized monitoring of systems and transactions and to reduce any level of loss due to financial, security and fraud, operational and compliance risks.
Skills & Capabilities
Intermediate level Excel knowledge
Knowledge of accounting and commercial application of accounting standards and policies.
Knowledge of an internal audit function
Ability to identify and manage risks
In-depth knowledge of travel industry and Flight Centre business
Knowledge of the mid-office systems and transactional risks
Written and verbal communication with business leaders and staff required
Responsibilities
Review fraud chargebacks and communicate risks and patterns to Ops leaders. Manage high risk credit card transactions.
Risk Monitoring, investigations, and exception reporting
Review, correct, and communicate outstanding transactions
Categorize and provision outstanding debt
Assist in troubleshooting, research, and development
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial business
