Intelligent Data Platform – Support Analyst – Remote, US
Role Details:Flight Centre is looking for a smart and data driven individual to be responsible for supporting our Intelligent Data Platform. Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills are a core skill requirement as the individual will be responsible to taking on our first level support. This will require a high level of articulate communication with people at all levels in the company. Specific duties will require the applicant to have a background investigating issues within our BI Reporting platform and administrative tasks such as configurations and reference data maintenance. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Communicate and collaborate both verbally and in writing with customers and staff in all areas and at all levels of the company.
Monitor support queues and action within the SLA
Provide training to company personnel on how to use the platform and best practices
Attention to detail and easily being able to spot things and correct or liaise with the appropriate person to fix
Configurations of company and reference data within our platform
Work on assigned special projects commensurate with their abilities, experience, and skill level
Skills Required:
Motivated and focused to achieve individual, team and company goals and SLAs
Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, handle a diverse workload, and meet aggressive deadlines.
Proven abilities to take initiative
Strong research and investigation background including analytical problem solving
Proficiency with using Microsoft Excel
Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, GoodData, Tableau or something similar
Ability to work well cross functionally, especially with technical teams
Experience with databases and SQL is a plus
Experience in the travel industry is a plus
