As the Head of Product you’ll work with the Product leaders to translate business objective and goals into Product Strategy, setting vision, direction and goals for the product and engineering teams. In addition to this, the role will devise the product strategy and vision. This role will also implement and drive product operations & discovery-led practices.

Day to day:
Focus on enhancing your specific products’ performance, ensuring that local optimisation contributes to, rather than detracts from, the whole
Support and improve the product management team. Developing and growing product manager capability and capacity
Monitoring the performance of both the product managers and their products using Product and Team OKRs
Advocate for, evangelise and improve upon the product lifecycle, ensuring the right practices are in place for a healthy product.
Validate ideas (ROI) and ensure the Product teams are aligned to business goals
Become an expert in your domain, live and breathe the product, advocating on behalf of customers
Be a key player in building a healthy, collaborative and innovative product and engineering culture
Work closely with other Heads of Product to ensure alignment of priorities and targets across intersecting product roadmaps to address business objectives
Provide people leadership and management to support your team’s growth and value to the company
Own the quality of your products, ensuring a consistently high standard of testing and and observability is maintained for operational reliability and performance
Creating and validating a product strategy including market and user research
Validate ideas and solutions to meet customer and business needs through product demos and usability or A/B tests, ensuring ideas hold a healthy ROI and Product Teams are aligned to business goals
Take a data-driven approach to decision making by analysing data samples and drawing the right conclusions
Skills and Capabilities:
At least 7 years of experience in the field of software, eCommerce, technology or product management
Undergraduate degree in Technology or similar
You’ll earn brownie points with:
Experience with travel agency, online travel distribution, and other internet-scale environments
Experience using ProductBoard, Miro and JIRA
Strong understanding of the travel or retail industry
