Job Description
This role manages the process of bringing a product(s) and services to market, which includes deciding the product’s positioning and messaging, GTM planning and associated activities, ensuring all relevant Corporate Traveller sales channels and customers understand it. This role also aims to drive the demand and usage of all product & services we sell, and to ensure that the Voice Of the Customer is being utilised within the full product lifecycle.
By creating & leveraging market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement, this role will be the expert in the buyer personas, how they buy and their buying criteria (helping in the formulation of the product roadmap).
Crucial to the success of the role will be how effective the hired candidate will be in transferring knowledge to, and effortlessly collaborating with, teams around the global business including; Brand Marketing & Comms, Sales Teams, Account Management, Product Development, Implementation & Operations, and External Partners & Customers in order to effectively launch new products and promote existing services.
Accountabilities:
Customer Product Lifecycle –
Understand the customer lifecycle and feedback through research and analysis
Go to Market Planning –
Distil the customer insights to collaboratively work with Product Managers to design the future product requirements that deliver on customer needs and co-ordinate marketing assets and training materials.
Develop the go to market product plan that will regularly identify actionable customer insights to fuel more targeted marketing and curate a better end to end experience for customers and great lead generation.
Product Team Relationship –
Be the conduit through collaboration for our Tech Product Owners, to drive product adoption, customer insights analysis and feedback.
Product Training –
Design the product training for customers to be delivered by sales, AM’s & Ops through strong relationship management, education and collaboration.
Team Development –
Establish and develop the new Product Marketing Team
Experience & Knowledge:
5+ years experience in mid – senior product marketing / or FCTG product/technology
Experience in product lifecycle/customer lifecycle management and new product development methodologies
Experience working with and preparing pitches for industry analysts
Experience in analytics and insights
Strong project management skills
