Position Title: GDS Distribution & Support Manager
Role Description:
Reporting to the Global Corporate Land Supply team, we are looking for an experienced leader to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with our corporate businesses to design, manage and roll-out products that optimize the corporate land sales and processes.
The GDS Distribution and Support Manager, Corporate Land Programs, is responsible for establishing best-in-class practices to ensure a seamless distribution of our Flight Centre Corporate and customers’ hotel programs via all GDSs (Global Distribution Systems), including the creation and maintenance of a global hotel rate database, as well as GDS rate loading, auditing and troubleshooting processes.
This role will be critical in supporting our corporate businesses to grow profitable hotel sales, and provide leadership and exceptional support to customer-facing (sales, account managers and customer success teams) and operation (corporate travel agents) teams.
By cooperating with global and local teams, and leveraging the usage of the appropriate tools and processes, she/he will generate strong internal synergies and efficiencies, seamless operations, high customer satisfaction and ultimately will contribute in increasing the number of hotel bookings and hotel incomes.
The role will have a greater initial focus on supporting global, complex FCM customers based in the USA, but will ultimately design processes that are applicable to all FCTG Corporate brands, globally.
Responsibilities
Analyze and provide recommendations on the best structure and organization to tackle the issue from a global, multi-brands perspective, considering best achievable results and costs.
Design, implement and lead global end-to-end processes to ensure seamless GDS hotel rate loading, auditing, and troubleshooting, including request, intake forms, treatment and other processes, SLAs, etc
Determine KPIs (accuracy of loading, availability, etc) and track success of new processes.
Create and set up procedures to maintain a global database containing all FCTG unique programs and customers’ rates.
Work with local customer and consulting teams to establish synergies, remove duplications, and implement global processes.
Cooperate very closely with hotel supply teams and when necessary, suppliers directly, to ensure that all FCTG unique programs are correctly loaded and available.

Work in close cooperation with the support functions and stakeholders like ATI to ensure a good understanding of the requests as well as timely and effective resolution of the requests, meeting SLA standards and with a deep commitment to providing efficient solutions for the business
Requirements:
Leadership: able to truly own this global issue and within a few months, will have investigated, recommended, designed and implemented a globally available and scalable GDS distribution process for all FCTG corporate brands.
TMC and/or GDS operations: demonstrate expertise and intimate knowledge of Sabre and Amadeus GDS (at minima) systems as it relates to TMC and Corporate hotel rate distribution and operations.
Experience and/or strong knowledge of hotel operations and associated GDS configurations (PCCs, Rate Accesses and Plans, etc).
Computer literacy: Experienced on either or all GDS systems (at minima Sabre and Amadeus); experience with online booking tools notably Concur; Intranet, Internet, Word and next-level Excel skills.
Strong understanding of TMCs’ hotel value proposition and programs, as well as corporate customers’ hotel programs and objectives.
Analytical: Ability to digest data in a meaningful manner leading to strategic decision making and reactivity to changing environments
Develop and document business and processes, functions and procedures
Effective persuasion and influence: influences people and sells the benefits of change; plans approach and identifies solutions; able to achieve a workable arrangement that meets the needs/guidelines of the organization/client/ supplier; be proactive and always show initiative; think outside the square and find solutions
Strong communication skills to effectively guide internal and external stakeholders, create an inspiring vision, set up best-in-class solutions and reach sustainable agreements.
Demonstrated experience of delivering internal business solutions and working with stakeholders from different functions and at all levels.
