About The Opportunity
FCM Travel is seeking a Proposal Content Manager to join our RFP team, which functions in a fast-paced environment as part of a larger sales operation. This candidate will develop processes to streamline the maintenance of proposal- and other sales-related content, and help ensure content is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Key Responsibilities
Manage RFP response content library (RFPIO)
Establish content management processes to incorporate new responses and/or edits to existing information in RFPIO
Enhance database search functionality by soliciting feedback from end-users and tag as appropriate
Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), marketing, product development, leadership, and others to develop, update and maintain the database
Regularly check for expiring content to update or remind SMEs to review, as needed
Edit content to ensure it meets guidelines for consistency of voice, FCM branding, style, and formatting
Become our RFPIO SME, add/train new users, and assist with complex uploads or other functionality requests as needed
Keep RFP repository evergreen and accurate
Manage supplemental sales material on SharePoint and/or Highspot
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of content management or RFP writing experience – travel industry experience a plus
Thorough understanding of RFP processes and drivers of RFP success
Technically proficient in RFP database technologies, Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Salesforce
Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to marshal resources, communicate, and manage timelines
Skilled writer, editor, and proofreader
A high attention to detail
Analytical and critical thinking skills for understanding complex ideas and then explaining them simply to others in both oral and written formats
Ability to multi-task and effectively balance priorities
Ability to take control and manage tasks or projects independently from start to end
Collaborates with team and consistently communicates updates as needed
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
