The Role:
As Sales & Onboarding Manager for FCM Meetings and Events, UK and Ireland, you will be responsible for winning new business, contracting and onboarding customers to drive sustained strategic and aggressive growth. Working closely with our other M&E regions and our FCM Sales and Account Managers, the successful candidate should have an appetite for problem solving and an ability to think out of the box to provide the best solution for our customers, and for the business.
Accountabilities:
Create and implement a M&E client prospecting workflow in our CRM, which is as consistent as possible with FCM’s existing sales process, yet specific to Meetings & Events requirements. Create and implement a M&E client ‘Closed Won’ workflow in our CRM.
Prospect and Win Managed Events business from our existing FCM M&E clients who are already trading with our Group Travel and Venue Source Teams. Prospect and win total M&E business (Groups, Venue Source and Managed Events, with a Managed Events focus) from existing FCM Transient clients.
Work with Transient account managers and their regional equivalents in our other M&E regions to onboard new customers, educate them around our offering and ensure they are set up correctly in our systems and that we are capturing the correct data capture points, invoicing in the correct way etc.
Solution design for our regional and global customers (or customers with >100K annual M&E spend.
Creation of client Implementation plans – This will involve coordination with various departments and function groups (ie., Operations, Products (Cvent), Credit/Payments)
Ensure all client facing documentation is updated & sent to the client in a timely manner
Responsible for creating internal and client-facing reporting as well as analysing the data and implementing strategies to ensure targets are reached
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a sales role – Essential
Strong negotiation skills – Essential
Education to Degree level – Highly Desirable
Online Booking Tool, Wrike, Salesforce and Cvent knowledge – Highly Desirable
Willingness to adapt and highly self-motivated – Essential
Knowledge of event management operation processes, standards and procedures – Desirable
Excellent customer service and communication skills – Essential
