About The Opportunity
FCM Consulting provides a white label travel management solution through its OTR (outsourced travel resource) offering. The Program Manager will be the primary contact for FCM Consulting OTR clients, utilizing a team of Consultants, Analysts and Coordinators.  The Program Manager will prioritize areas for inclusion and work closely with the client, the FCM Consulting team, FCM Account Management and other brands to execute.
 
This position will provide insight and perform a variety of functions related to the client’s regional or global travel portfolio. Dependent on the scope of work defined in the client contract, this may involve developing and implementing corporate travel strategies, coordinating sourcing activities, and ensuring that the objectives are integrated into the travel program. This position will have a thorough understanding of multiple segments of the corporate travel industry and may conduct training or leadership activities as necessary. 
Key Responsibilities
Global Consolidation – Accelerate client buy-in and FCM coordination to map out and complete consolidation
Suppliers – engage FCM Consulting Sourcing team to expand and augment negotiated agreements to drive savings and enhance traveler service
Manage strategic sourcing activities (RFPs and Performance Management) for airlines, hotels, car rental and ground transport.
Drive performance to preferred suppliers (air, hotel, car rental, rideshare)
Relationship management

Duty of Care – formalize and publicize Traveler Safety protocols
Identify current safety and security agreements
Expand FCM Secure access
Coordinate with client’s Risk Management/Security on “incident response” plans
Ensure provision of pre-trip and during-trip information and assistance

Communication/Engagement
Comprehensive “push” communication plan/content for all internal stakeholders
Evaluate real-time (“pull”) dialogue options
Initiate Demand Management behavioral modification

Small Meetings Management – leverage unmanaged spend and enhance Duty of Care
Identify meeting bookers
Draft meetings policy (using meeting bookers’ input) and safety protocols
Employ an effective tracking tool to identify spend and savings opportunities (e.g. consolidating ground transport, leveraging transient and meeting volumes collectively, etc.)

Success Metrics – track and publicize success across all aspects of travel management
Formalize regularly scheduled traveler and stakeholder satisfaction surveying, report on findings and action plans
Incorporate safety-related metrics, tracking and reporting on travelers’ exposure and experiences in potentially dangerous situations
Benchmark success/opportunity against peer companies and share best practices

Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, plus 7+ years account management, consulting and/or travel management experience (or a sufficient combination of education and work experience)
Proven experience navigating large organizations and multi-layered structures
Knowledge of international travel regulations, customs and currencies
Experience with T&E reporting
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with superior Excel skills
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
The discipline to work alone and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, high performance team
Exercise strong project management skills to coordinate the efforts of a team of individuals
Analytical in approach with the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects while maintaining an eye for detail
Self-starter; ability to excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Maintains a high level of confidentiality always, and communicates professionally with all levels of the organization
Fluent in English, other languages a plus
