We are excited to share that we are looking for an Events & Corporate Hospitality Coordinator who understands that event marketing helps strengthen our organisation’s image, attracts new business, improves client loyalty, and enhances our brand-to-client/prospect experience.  
 
 

The Big Picture…
Your role will be vital in contributing to the Acquisition and Retain & Growth Campaign strategies and objectives, through efficient execution of the program and management of the allocated budget, while being accountable to achieving the event and sponsorship ROI KPIs.  Supporting the SME Marketing Pillar objectives through a national Event and Sponsorship Program, this role will take ownership of the program outcomes to deliver exceptional experiences resulting in new wins and delighted customers. 

Responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating high quality events and sponsorship opportunities spanning webinars (both live and automated), 3rd party, proprietary events and corporate hospitality.   
Finding and booking venues leveraging our hotel supplier relationships, liaising with clients and suppliers, handling logistics, managing budgets and invoicing, organizing accreditation, managing risk and presenting post-event reports.  
Represent the company and its partnerships by interacting directly with sponsorship partners and suppliers, ensuring seamless transfer of information, clarity of priorities, and efficiency of programs as a key liaison and relationship lead. 
Work closely with internal stakeholders, external event planning resources, brand teams and creative resources to drive a comprehensive and cohesive event and sponsorship marketing program
Serving as the main contact point for all or any problems that may arise at event 
Review agreements and proposals, make recommendations and provide contract negotiation support. Manage follow-ups and maintain a database of hospitality agreements, event orders, supplier rentals and other program-related documentation. 
Maintain oversight per-event budgeting, handling all facets of budgeting 
Create event-based campaigns in Salesforce so event performance can be tracked and monitored for ROI 
Coordinate the team in preparing for events, staffing plans and briefings 
Evaluate event successes and areas for improvement, adjusting event accordingly based on guest concerns and feedback.   
Developing and analysing event feedback surveys to inform the post event reports and improve future events. 
Day-to-day event related administrative work such as coordinating collection of sponsor payments  
Coordinating multiple events at once 
Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts. 

 

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

2+ years experience in an event coordinator role or similar
A degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Hospitality Management 
Ability to create and maintain budgets 
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft and present high-level sponsorship concepts and plans to senior stakeholders while also being able to negotiate when needed
Excellent MS Office skills 
Experience with Eloqua and Salesforce 
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship development skills 
Excellent project management skills 
Worked in highly autonomous roles and able to independently drive projects to completion with support from other teams across the business 
Demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time-management.  
A professional demeanor and ability to stay calm under pressure 
Risk management experience
