Digital Project Manager
The Digital Project Manager (PM) is responsible for ensuring the strategic objectives of FCTG are achieved through the delivery of key marketing projects. The incumbent is recognised as an expert in the field of digital project management, including business case development.
The role will ultimately be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
The Project Manager reports directly to the SVP Head of Digital, Corporate who reports to the Global CMO, Corporate. The position requires regular liaison with project team members, executives, and key stakeholders within FCTG and potentially additional third parties.
Responsibilities
Work with SVP Digital, CMO and Global Brand to develop project prioritization framework and planning process including the full project documentation processes.
Promote and ensure use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, documentation and tools, including benefits realization and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
Actively manage the governance and prioritization process for project delivery within FCTG Corporate Marketing.
Ensure that resourcing for all projects is feasible.
Assist in the definition of project scope, requirements and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple projects
Actively manage stakeholders, vendors SME’s and project teams, highlighting risks and resource issues as required.
Formal Change Control process to be followed throughout the project lifecycle in adherence with Project standards and the Project Management Plan
Ensure business readiness for FCTG staff in place prior to any deployment, as agreed by relevant project and business stakeholders
Prepare and deliver accurate, relevant and timely reporting in alignment with PMO standards.
Ensure Status updates, Action Items Registers and Decisions Logs are maintained, escalating areas of concern to relevant stakeholders and leader.
Qualifications
Proven experience/ knowledge in a project management capacity and digital project execution across multiple departments and stakeholders.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, concepts and principles – able to be adapted to FCTG’s environment and culture.
Demonstrated knowledge of project development, including benefits identification, analysis and subsequent monitoring
Demonstrated ability in analyzing and reporting project performance and status, e.g. quality, time, and budget, risk, forecasting, etc.
Ability to create a vision, shared goals and drivers. Motivate and develop key stakeholders & team members. Ability to analyze and communicate Business Intelligence program information.
Ability to think independently, with well-developed written and consultation skills
Ability to communicate across different levels within the FCTG organization and aligned to different stakeholder needs/ drivers
This is the critical role for corporate brands, a multi-billion dollar portfolio including FCM and Corporate Traveller. As such, candidates require in excess of 5 years of project management experience in IT, Marketing or Business Project delivery is required.
Degree in project management, business, information technology, or marketing.
Experience in delivering marketing led projects and understanding of marketing principles is desirable.
