About the Opportunity
We are on the hunt for a Content Coordinator to join our dynamic, fast-paced and successful marketing team. In this role, you will report to the Marketing Operations Leader and work collaboratively with the wider Marketing team, and Product Managers.
The purpose of the Content Coordinator (Product) is to showcase Flight Centres brand personality and tone of voice, by writing copy to merchandise our key holiday products for Flight Centre countries, including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom and the Americas.
This role is perfect for someone with 1+ years experience in a content based role, knows how to write fun, snappy and appealing content and is interested in developing website advertising skills.
What you will be doing:
Write product merchandising copy for marketing campaigns
Come up with creative ideas for taglines, campaign messaging, and content
Work with the design team to pull imagery to advertise the holiday products online
Load the products into a website CMS and ensure the products are correctly displaying on the Flight Centre websites
Work with the wider Flight Centre marketing teams to ensure the products are well presented and received by customers
All about you:
At least 1 years experience in a content marketing role
Demonstrated ability to write high-quality copy to the deadline with a quick turnaround, and knowledge of editorial, merchandising and SEO best practices
The ability to write in a brand tone of voice
The ability to work in a collaborative environment, working closely with the immediate content and social media team as well as the wider marketing and product teams
The ability to work autonomously, troubleshooting problems on your own
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
An understanding of analytics and reporting, and the ability to analyse data to make informed decisions
Ability to be flexible with working hours to accommodate the needs of the Flight Centre global businesses
Belief and commitment to the Flight Centre Travel Group systems and policies
Desirable Experience & Attributes:
Experience and understanding of website CMS programs
Retail and/or wholesale travel sales experience.
Experience in travel copywriting for print advertisements and/or radio.
Marketing qualification(s).
Technical Skills:
Marketing experience, degree or currently studying is preferred but not essential.
Working knowledge & understanding of social media & digital marketing channels are an asset.
Thorough knowledge of Flight Centre store systems is an asset.
