About the Opportunity:
As our Communications Advisor you are a key part of the Flight Centre Travel Group Communications Team that is responsible for implementing internal and external communications strategies. These strategies support our multiple brands and key stakeholders across our global business.
In this role you will be taking an integrated approach to designing and executing communications strategies, campaigns and plans.
This is a hands-on role, where no two days are the same. You’ll be working across the full spectrum of communications, from creating and sending internal email campaigns, running Town Halls, working with our inhouse videographer to direct video shoots, to supporting our events team to produce our Global Gathering event (Singapore 2022!). This is the role that will boost your communication skill set to levels your peers can only dream about.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related fields OR equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years in a similar role with proven experience.
Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships. We value curiosity!
Ability to build communication strategies from the ground up and execute with confidence.
Ability to confidently provide communications advice to senior stakeholders and write in their tone of voice.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to prioritise your workload.
Be self-driven and adaptable.
Excellent attention to detail.
Most important – exceptional communication skills!
Bonus Points:
Experience working behind the scenes in SharePoint, Workplace/Yammer and email platforms such as Whispir or Mail Chimp.
Experience working in the travel industry, or a retail brand with physical stores.
