General Information
Job title:
FCTG Commercial Supply Manager.
Purpose:
This position is responsible for negotiating and managing Commercial Supply Contract negotiations for all FCTG Brands.
The role would be responsible in the key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as managing the relationships with suppliers as well as attend after-hour supplier engagement functions, meetings and & duty travel at short notice.
This person would also work alongside our National Brand Leaders to ensure the business drive profitable returns for FCTG.
Primary duties and responsibilities (KRAs)
Negotiation of Supply contracts for maximum returns
Increase overall contract margin on all preferred suppliers
Management of contract negotiations and offers
Evaluation of all offers to drive maximum opportunities to achieve the most favorable position for FCTG.
Analysis and reporting of contract performance
Management of contract performance to drive opportunities for increased revenue
Analysis of contract reporting to identify trends and risks
Analysis of Trend Analysis reporting to identify destinations for campaigns
Supplier Account Management
Review meetings with suppliers to identify opportunities to improve performance
Re-negotiation opportunities to be identified where potential earn is maximised or at risk.
Opportunities for Waivers and Favours to be identified and managed
Market Share information to be built through strong relationships with industry leaders
Support and analysis of system-related issues through to resolution
Attend functions to network and build relationships
Stakeholder engagement
Work with National SWOT Brand leaders to identify opportunities with certain suppliers and increase
Review meetings with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to increase profits as well as mitigate any possible risk

Reports to FCTG Commercial Supply Leader

Minimum requirements

Diploma in Tertiary Education
Air Industry/Contract Negotiation Experience
Experience:
Minimum 2 Years’ in a contracting position at FCTG or similar
Proven track record with suppliers and internal / external stakeholders
Strong sense of ownership and accountabilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
