Job Description

Global Land Supply (GLS) is Flight Centre Travel Group’s global in-house product procurement and consolidation business, servicing a number of Flight Centre’s worldwide selling businesses including Retail, in-country support, Liberty Travel, GoGo Worldwide Vacations and Flight Centre Asia.
The GLS team are looking for a Commercial Analyst to maximise contract margins and provide financial analysis over our key contracts; by having a love of numbers, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build great relationships with stakeholders.
 
Day to Day
On a day to day, you will be supporting the Contract Managers through regular reporting and analysis, highlighting opportunities and risk while keeping in mind back end override, margin and profit. 
Work with Product Managers to manage all commercial aspects of override contracts
Development & analysis of destinational reports and other reports to track key travel trends and forward forecasting
Drive commercially based outcomes with Contract Managers for forecasting
Facilitate and drive Sales Review meetings with Procurement teams to bring transparency to contract performance
Provide supporting data to measure contract and supplier / competitor set / regional performance for the business and selling partners
Ad-hoc reporting & will support strategic decision making for the procurement area

Must Have’s
Intermediate to advanced level Excel knowledge
Conversant with Salesforce –  Understands the various relationships within SF and is able to update/amend as required as well as run reports and extract data
Knowledge of travel industry
Interpret financial management reports
Financial modelling experience desirable
Understanding database principles and SQL logic
Exposure to Power BI
