Business Analyst- Corporate Technology

The role:
We’re looking to hire a motivated Business Analyst with great attention to detail to join Corporate Technology. The Business Analyst will be a key part of the Project Management Office and work with stakeholders across the business to investigate current processes and produce detailed documentation to enable development of effective business solutions. An ability to write clear and comprehensive documentation, ensuring that business requirements and processes are fully understood, and to utilise the correct tools and best practice to support this work, is essential. Initially the role will be responsible for analysing and implementing a large scale mid-office project, which is part of a varied portfolio of projects delivering exciting corporate technologies to our business. Business Analyst qualification preferred but not essential. BA training available.
Key skills:
Process mapping- able to document current and future processed for multiple audience and identify and document system dependencies
Clear analytical thinking- Able to turn stakeholder feedback into concise requirements and identify possible solutions
Working in project/sprint environments-Able to meet deadlines, provide status updates, plan and prioritise own/others work and ensure goals are met. Work alone and in team environment and plan activities in advance
Testing- Able to write test plans
Communication- Able to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences and engage with stakeholders at all levels
Responsibilities:
Review business change/project requests – To review business requests for changes/project initiation across EMEA region.
Document current and future processes – Review the current processes, workflows and operations, and assess the impact of any new deliverables or changes. Document requirements. Document proposed solutions for review and approval by PRB and business lead.
Liaise with developers and business leads – Document requirements for developers to understand and allow them to implement project deliverables or changes, and respond to questions that may arise during development. Confidently able to discuss issues of requests and provide possible solutions. Document solutions to a high-standard for approval by Line Manager and business lead
Testing – Document test plans Support testing
Qualifications:
Proven Business Analysis skills – (requirements gathering, process mapping, testing) Essential
Microsoft Office Essential
Experience in transactional finance Preferred
Experience in travel industry Preferred
Business Analysis Foundation Preferred
Microsoft Visio Preferred
Knowledge and or experience in project management Preferred
