Job Description

The Assistant Team Leader supports the Stage & Screen accounts receivable team and reports to the Finance Operations Leader. It is responsible for helping deliver financial information to our customers, helping to improve and create efficiencies, solve problems, and oversee the collection of customer accounts in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
About The Opportunity
Stage & Screen specialise in providing travel management services to the creative, sporting and entertainment industries. Working in a united finance team, the opportunity assists the Stage & Screen brand in the management of debtor portfolios within the Australian Corporate Travel division of Flight Centre Travel Group. You will be joining a team of innovative high-performers who rely on collaboration, adaptability and continuous improvement to achieve market leading outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the management of delivering financial information to our Stage & Screen customers, working with a team of four credit controllers
Support the Finance Operations Leader in driving and implementing key strategic initiatives, working culture and key performance indicators/service level agreements
Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the business
Resolving issues and navigating a complex portfolio of debtors
Creation and maintenance of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
 
About you
University level qualification and a minimum two years working in a corporate finance role
High attention to detail, critical thinker, has solid business acumen
Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
Knowledge of the principles of accounting, with an ability to juggle many diverse issues and projects
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel; competency working with large ERP systems
Flexible with change, growth, and pressure
Prior success in accounts receivable, credit control or similar environments preferred
