Job Description

Purpose of this role: To process the Accounts Payable and Receivable for Travel Partners Holdings (Flight Centre Travel Group), complete bank reconciliations and compile relevant reports. 
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Division Member Agents monthly (high volume)
Generate Sales Reporting and provide analysis
Problem solving through analytical approach to issues
Ad-hoc Sales invoicing as required (e.g. for co-op marketing)
Weekly follow-up with Debtors on overdue balances
Pay Direct Commissions weekly reconciliation & funds transfer
All associated journal entries for Member’s tax invoice / tax statement
All associated journal entries for Mobile’s tax invoice / tax statement
Monitor and action Accounts e-mail and provide phone support as required
Daily Bank Reconciliations & statement distribution to internal stakeholders
Full AP function including checking, coding, sending for approval, recording in Finance software package (currently MYOB) and processing Supplier payments according to invoice terms
Create, post and distribute RCTIs (Recipient Created Tax Invoice) to all active FC Independent Division Mobile Agents monthly (high volume)
Experience:
      Essential:
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Great attitude and helpful approach
Ability to use initiative appropriately
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional time-management & organisational skills
Methodical and able to follow procedures consistently
Previous AP/AR experience (within the Travel Industry highly regarded)
Desirable:
Knowledge and interest in the Travel Industry
Experience with commercial Finance Software
