In this role you will manage some of our largest digital and offline advertising accounts, agency relationships, tourism offices, as well as drive a variety of new business partnerships. The candidate will work closely with marketing and product supply department to drive key business results for the StudentUnivertse and thrive in a fast paced, data driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of the sales pipeline across our tourism board, supplier partnerships.
Build strategic proposals, media plans and presentations for your advertisers based on their campaign goals and measurement objectives
Close new business by aggressively working with perspective advertisers
Actively utilize cold emailing/calling and social selling tactics
 Conduct in person meetings
Perform in-depth data analysis to form and drive practical recommendations for both your advertisers and internal teams
 Collaborate closely with marketing to actively monitor the performance and maintain consultive relationship with clients that includes ongoing optimization recommendations
 Effectively communicate progress of campaigns to clients and internal partners
Work close-functionally with internal partners to develop new ad products and process improvements
Contribute to team strategy and processes to drive long-term partner success
Stay tuned and responsive to the evolving competitive landscape of digital advertising and travel search sites to help identify and supply ideas on how we can remain best-in-class
Preferred Requirements:
2-3 years (minimum) of digital advertising sales experience or similar work history in a ecommerce space
Travel/Tourism experience is a plus
Excels at selling new-to-market products and services
Advanced presentation, negotiation and communication skills
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills (with a can-do attitude)
Goal driven and ambitious self-starter with ability to deliver on targets without constant supervision
Deep understanding of the online media industry and/or travel in relation to your function, as well as more broadly
Hungry to learn/team player
