Europe’s first Lego waterpark coming to Italy’s Gardaland
The first Legoland Water Park in Europe will be built inside Italy’s Gardaland Resort and it will also be the first in the world inside a theme Park not Legoland branded. This was revealed by Aldo Maria Vigevani, CEO of Gardaland. The Legoland Water Park, that will open in 2020, will be aimed at families with children aged two to twelve.
Vigevani added, “The Lego brand is renowned globally and will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening Gardaland Resort’s position as a major European tourist destination, as well as confirming it as a top player for family entertainment.”
Gardaland itself is one of the most popular theme parks in Europe, with the only themed aquarium in Italy and a Peppa Pig land. It is located on the edge of Lake Garda and the theme is all about fantasy, adventure and magic. Legoland currently operates water parks in Florida, California, Malaysia and Dubai.
