Europalco, the largest provider of solutions for events and shows in Southern Europe, staged the 2024 Sales Convention for the Super Bock Group, the largest Portuguese beverage company. Agency No More organised this historic event, bringing together 800 attendees for a day of innovation, engagement, and extraordinary visual storytelling at the prestigious Sala Tejo in Lisbon.
The 2024 Sales Convention sought to celebrate and inspire the Super Bock sales team, and No More chose Europalco to bring this vision to life. The preparation for this important event took approximately two months and involved a team of 40 Europalco professionals.
During the planning phase, the team at Europalco intensively crafted every detail to meet the high standards and expectations of the Super Bock Group, which produces the best-selling Portuguese beer in the world. It was the first time Europalco had collaborated, and the aim was to create a memorable experience that would serve as a benchmark for future events.
The event’s theme, “Explorers”, aimed to transport the audience through various exploration scenarios, such as mountains, oceans, and space. The main challenge was to design a screen capable of immersing the audience in these dynamic environments. The solution was an impressive 180-degree screen design that enveloped more than half of the audience, measuring approximately 60 linear meters with a projection height of 6.5 meters.
Eight Christie Boxer 4K30 projectors powered the visual experience, ensuring stunning clarity and brightness. Europalco used the Christie Spyder X80 2416 and a Pandora Box Octo 4K server for video processing and show control. This high-end equipment facilitated smooth transitions and flawless visual effects, creating an immersive environment that captivated the audience from start to finish.
One of the event highlights was the size and quality of the projection screen. The 60-meter projection screen was the central element of the stage design, providing a panoramic backdrop that changed to reflect the different exploration scenarios. This innovative use of space and technology allowed the audience to feel part of the journey as if they were climbing mountains, diving into oceans, or sailing through space.
Europalco’s team designed the main stage outside the conventional format, complementing the overall theme of the exploration. Advanced lighting, sound, and camera systems equipped the stage, supporting the dynamic presentations and interactive sessions highlighting the convention. The technical set-up was solid and ensured that all presentations were delivered with the highest quality and precision.
The fully personalized entrance to the Tejo Room greeted guests from the moment they arrived. Inside, soundproof curtains cleverly divided the space, creating distinct zones while maintaining the flow and coherence of the event. The lounge area was customized with decorative pieces of vinyl reflecting the unique identity of the event, providing attendees with a comfortable and stylish space to relax and network.
The feedback from the Super Bock Group was overwhelmingly positive. The client expressed satisfaction with the overall execution and the immersive experience created by Europalco. According to the guest satisfaction survey, the Sales Convention 2024 was considered the best convention ever held by Super Bock. This recognition is a testimony to Europalco’s commitment to excellence and innovation in event planning and production.
