Emirates is thrilled to launch overseas simulator assessments, starting in Amsterdam! If you’re a Boeing-experienced pilot, you have an opportunity here.
In Amsterdam, you’ll complete the simulator assessment and Advanced COMPASS test. Successful candidates will be invited to Dubai to explore the city, tour EK-provided accommodations, and complete logbook reviews and medical checks.
According to the official website, Emirates will carry out simulator assessments on Jan 20 and 21 and on Feb 13 and 14.
Types of Job Roles
Emirates has multiple job roles including First Officer, Synthetic Flight Instructor, Recruitment Pilot, Captain, Training Captain, Flight Operations Audit, Management Pilot, and CRM Instructor.
- First Officers serve as second-in-command, executing flight operations alongside captains. Their responsibilities encompass pre-flight preparations, flight operations, and systems monitoring throughout each journey.
- Synthetic Flight Instructors manage simulator-based training programs, develop curricula, and conduct performance evaluations. These specialists collaborate with flight training departments to maintain pilot proficiency standards.

- Training Captains oversee comprehensive pilot development programs. Their scope includes initial qualification training and recurring proficiency assessments to maintain operational standards.
- Flight Operations Audit Captains conduct systematic evaluations of operational compliance. Their assessments identify potential safety risks and procedural improvements across flight operations.
