Kempinski Hotels has announced the much-anticipated opening of Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah.
“An embodiment of majestic luxury in its purest form” — the Emerald Palace is nestled on the world’s largest man-made island and archipelago. Its location gives panoramic views of both the sea and Dubai’s iconic skyline, a short drive away from the city’s attractions.
Aptly named for what it truly is, the Palace is a regal landmark offering 391 luxurious rooms, suites and villas, eight restaurants and bars, a Cinq Mondes spa, kids’ and teens’ club, and the largest private cinema on Palm Jumeirah.
“The top segment of a growing luxury hospitality market”
Henk Meyknecht, COO – Middle East and Africa, Kempinski Hotels, commented: “We are proud to celebrate the opening of Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai, as part of our growing portfolio of iconic and luxurious hotels in the Middle East and Africa region. This beachfront, palatial resort confirms our commitment to serving to the top segment of a growing luxury hospitality market. We remain committed to the vision of Dubai as one of the most innovative tourism destinations in the Middle East.”
The building has been meticulously designed with neoclassical architecture and has been inspired by European palaces of the past. The five Palladian domes that form the distinct silhouette of the property, along with the eight marble columns in the grand atrium, are intricately pieced together using the finest pink Portuguese marble.
Craftsmen have used the finest materials handpicked from Italy, France and across Europe — from the chandelier made from 40,000 Swarovski crystals in the grand atrium to an ornate ballroom accented with damask silk tapestries and a Blüthner Supreme Edition Louis XIV grand piano in the spectacular Blüthner Hall.
Other highlights include the 3,000 sqm Cinq Mondes Spa, complete with 23 treatment rooms, two private spa suites and Dubai’s largest indoor pool.
With room sizes starting at 65 sqm, the Palace offers one of the largest lead-in room categories on Palm Jumeirah. All guest rooms feature regal décor, a lounge area to relax, a polished marble bathroom and an expansive balcony with views across the gardens, Arabian Gulf or the Palm Lagoon.
