InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), has unveiled InterContinental Perth City Centre – the sixth InterContinental hotel in Australia.
Located in ‘The King Street Precinct’, the new 240-room property is designed by Woods Bagot with interiors by Chada, the 16 storey InterContinental Perth City Centre combines distinctly West Australian details with global design and hospitality experiences.
“The InterContinental Hotel brand has been offering luxury travel for over 70 years, and we’re looking forward to our guests experiencing the sophistication of the InterContinental life at the new InterContinental Perth City Centre”, comments general manager, Adam McDonald.
“We’re so proud to create a truly international hotel for Perth,” Adam continues.
“The details in our new hotel from the bespoke artwork, to the dynamic bars and restaurants and our signature Club InterContinental will impress, but it’s the welcoming service from our team, the local knowledge they’ll share and global etiquette they’ll extend that we’re most excited about,” he adds.
The hotels rang of restaurant’s have already made an impact on the local scene, with Ascua, the moody ground floor restaurant, helmed by chef Nick Trezise (pictured above) leading the way.
The Gallery Meeting Suites completes the hotel offer, providing a reimagined environment for business gatherings, seminars and more intimate events in ways not seen before in Perth thanks to a dedicated floor of four light filled suites, a central lounge area, private al fresco terraces and display kitchen.
Each meeting suite has access to The Chef’s Pantry, a stylish central lounge always stocked with refreshments for use any time during their function, while a spacious outdoor terrace complete with a bar, BBQ and cooking station provides sophisticated al fresco hospitality possibilities for event planners, so too a display kitchen in the largest meeting suite suitable for live culinary demonstrations during an event.
