Donning a new look: Six-figure makeover boosts Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham
A Cheltenham hotel has been boosted by a six-figure bedroom refurbishment – with further investment planned throughout the latter part of 2019. Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham, which is operated by the UK’s independent hotel management company, RBH, has seen around GBP 250,000 (USD 318,550) invested in improvements to a number of guest rooms.
52 rooms have been refurbished to ensure today’s smart travellers enjoy all of the amenities they are used to, with facilities upgraded to meet Holiday Inn Express’ Generation four standards, including fully upgraded Wi-Fi throughout the property. The completion of this stage of works marks the end of a carefully phased, long-term project to transform all 132 of the hotel’s bedrooms.
Further plans are in the pipeline for GBP 800,000 (USD 1,019,361) of improvements to the hotel’s ground floor public areas and facilities, as well as the conversion of existing space into additional guest rooms.
Icynth Ferrão, general manager of Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham, said: “Having all of our guest rooms in line with the Holiday Inn Express Generation Four standards gives us an edge when it comes to providing excellent accommodation within the historic town of Cheltenham.”
