Lighthouse Point, Disney Cruise Line’s new island destination in The Bahamas, will welcome families for the first time in June 2024, kicking off a season full of new and popular itineraries across the world. You will be able to pick between spectacular trips to magnificent destinations such as the Mediterranean, northern Europe, Alaska, and the Caribbean, in addition to the first sailings to the newest Bahamas retreat.
First Sailings to Lighthouse Point
Disney Cruise Line will launch its newest Bahamas destination, Lighthouse Point, on the island of Eleuthera in June 2024. From Fort Lauderdale, Florida, cruises on the Disney Magic will visit this vibrant beach resort designed with families in mind, imbued with the colour and vitality of Bahamian craftsmanship, and built with sustainability and conservation at its core.
On 8 June, a seven-night inaugural voyage on the Disney Fantasy from Port Canaveral, Florida, will allow you to be among the first to make a splash in the crystal-clear waters of this new Lighthouse Point destination. This ideal Disney Cruise Line Island destination itinerary features not one but two stops at Lighthouse Point… but wait, there’s more! During this once-in-a-lifetime voyage, your family will enjoy sun-drenched solitude at Castaway Cay. A three-night preview cruise on the Disney Magic leaving Fort Lauderdale on 6 June will include a sneak tour of Lighthouse Point with limited access to certain sections.
Following the debut voyage, Lighthouse Point will be a highlighted stop on select three-, four-, and five-night Disney Magic sailings to The Bahamas and Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale. These South Florida-based itineraries will alternate stops between Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay, with five special sailings, including Disney Cruise Line Island destinations.
