The Diamond Princess cruise ship has emerged from dry-dock facelift in Singapore, which saw the ship adorned with a brand new livery.
The vessel became the third ship in the company’s fleet to display the new paintwork, following the Royal Princess and Majestic Princess.
The latest dry-dock upgrade followed a previous US$30 million renovation of the Diamond Princess, undertaken in Singapore in 2014. This project saw the cruise ship fitted with the largest Japanese onsen at sea.
Following the paint job, Diamond Princess has embarked on a 14-day repositioning cruise which will see the ship call at several Asian destinations including Nha Trang, Hong Kong, Taipei and Osaka, before reaching its new homeport of Yokohama.
