CTG hotel appoints James Kim as chief operating officer
TG Hotel Holdings Corporation Limited (CTG Hotel) has recently appointed James Kim as the chief operating officer of CTG Hotel. He will take full charge of the operations of CTG Hotel and its subsidiaries, both at home and abroad, to further enhance the multi-brand accommodation service experience.
Kim has gained extensive experience in hotel management at top executive positions such as general manager and vice president of operations for Greater China at international hotel brands including Hilton Hotels Corporation, Meliá, Hotels International, Howard Johnson International, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. With more than 28 years of experience in the global hotel industry, he has unique insights into operations management and marketing in China and abroad.
Prior to this position, Kim was the chief overseas development and operations officer at CTG Hotel, responsible for the development, operation and management of the company’s overseas projects and hotels. With his extensive market insight, advanced business strategies and exceptional operational management skills, Kim has made outstanding contributions to the strategic development and operations management of CTG Hotel in China and abroad. During his 3 years of service at CTG Hotel, Kim has developed a deep and comprehensive understanding of the corporate culture of CTG Hotel and has further developed its operations management process.
CTG Hotel currently owns four brands of “Grand Metropark”, “Metropark”, “Kew Green” and “Traveler Inn”, and has nearly 200 hotels under sole ownership, joint venture, entrusted management, franchise, leasing and third-party management, with approximately 50,000 rooms, primarily located in China, UK and Thailand. It is represented in more than 40 mainland cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan, Sanya and Suzhou, as well as Hong Kong and Macao in China, and in more than 30 cities in the UK including London, Leeds, Birmingham, Lincoln, Portsmouth and Brighton. It has also established business in Thailand, Laos, Brazil, Portugal and other countries. Kim will bring an all-round innovative approach, with his profound industry experience, solid skills and extensive management experience.
