Making waves in the industry this week are Princess Cruises’ latest world cruise and a new travel publication aimed to inspire a community. Here’s the latest cruise news on our radar.
Princess Cruises debuts 2021 World Cruise
Princess Cruises has announced its most robust 2021 World Cruise itinerary ever with more ports and countries than ever before. The 111-day World Cruise will visit 50 destinations in 32 countries, across six continents, including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America and North America.
“An ultimate adventure around the globe”
“Our 2021 World Cruise marks a significant milestone for Princess Cruises, with it being our most robust itinerary,” said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises president. “Guests will sail more than 34,000 nautical miles on an ultimate adventure around the globe, creating unforgettable memories.”
The 111-day World Cruise aboard Island Princess is on sale now with rates starting at USD 19,999/person. Guests who will book before 30 November 2019 will receive early booking perks such as a USD 1,000 onboard spending money, free airfare, stateroom upgrade, gratuities, Wi-Fi, dining and wine.
Fly free by OAT
Cruising South America or the Iberian Peninsula on a small ship this fall is now more affordable, thanks to the “fly free” opportunities from Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT), where travellers can fly free from Miami on four select small ship itineraries when reserved by 30 April 2019.
Fall is considered the best time of the year to travel, whether to hike the hills of Patagonia or to Iberia’s coast. Itineraries are designed to include a local Trip Leader to ensure authentic and fulfilling traveller experiences.
When only the best Easter eggs will do
Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) is offering passengers the chance to find an Easter Egg fit for a Tsar on a trip to St Petersburg. Home to the House of Fabergé (the workshop where Jeweller Carl Fabergé made fifty Imperial Eggs), St Petersburg also boasts the Shuvalov Palace, where nine of the ornate eggs are on display.
Columbus sails from London Tilbury 15 May, while Magellan sails from Newcastle 25 May to the Baltic Cities and St Petersburg.
