IHG has upgraded the conference and banqueting facilities at the Crowne Plaza Queenstown.
The half-a-million-dollar refurbishment has covered all of the New Zealand hotel’s function rooms, including Crowne I, Crowne II, Crowne III and the boardroom, as well as the pre- and post-function area, The Atrium.
The hotel’s four meeting rooms all overlook Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables mountain range through floor-to-ceiling windows, and are all located on the same floor.
“From mid-sized conferences to incentive groups and intimate meetings in the boardroom, we host a diverse range of events each year,” said Crowne Plaza Queenstown’s sales & marketing manager, Kylie Walker “As market leaders we’re always looking at ways of improving our services and the quality of conference and events rooms and public spaces.”
The hotel’s restaurant and lobby bar area have also been given a facelift, including new furniture.
