CroisiEurope inaugurated its latest vessel, the MS Douce France II, during a dockside ceremony in Strasbourg on 31 May.
Following a complete makeover, the former MS Douce France has been upgraded to a premium rated ship and will offer four- to seven-day cruises along the Rhine within the Moselle, Main and Rhine valleys.
The contemporary two deck ship measures 110 metres long and 11 metres wide and accommodates 106 guests in 48 double occupancy cabins (15m2), four single occupancy cabins (10m2), two suites (up to 23m2) and one cabin designed especially for people with reduced mobility (15m2).
All cabins have air-conditioning, a double bed that can be separated into twin beds, private bathroom, flat-screen television, radio, hair dryer and safe.
All upper deck cabins feature French balconies.
The public areas include a bar and lounge with dance floor, restaurant, sun deck with sun loungers and a shop. There is also a multi-lingual crew of 25.
Included in the cost of every cruise is accommodation, all meals and drinks onboard, onboard activities and a gala dinner.
