Cosmos reports that bookings have doubled in a year to India, making it the fastest growing long haul holiday choice for customers.
Rob Goodwin, Cosmos’ head of product & ommercial said: “Strong public awareness of the colour, culture and incredible wildlife of India from TV programmes like Joanna Lumley’s India has had a significant effect on bookings, as customers want to experience this amazing continent themselves. And, there appears to be no sign yet of interest waning.”
He added: “A private tour to see the most iconic sights and wildlife of India is proving a popular option for our customers. Setting your own pace and having your own guide/driver with air-conditioned vehicle to take you to the most incredible places like the Taj Mahal or the Amber Fort at Jaipur is a real ‘once in a lifetime adventure.”
Animal lovers and those wanting to see the famous sights of India can enjoy the 10 day ‘India’s Golden Triangle and the Tigers of Ranthambore’. The tour is priced from £1,366pp to include a private VIP home pick up service, return flights, eight nights bed and breakfast accommodation in 4 and 5 star rated hotels and guided sightseeing.
All of Cosmos’ India holidays are available as part of a group, or on a private basis with your own private guide and driver.
