Nilssons’ scope of work involves overseeing COMO Cocoa Island and COMO Maalifushi.
He brings an extensive background and a commitment to excellence, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational cohesion across COMO’s properties in Maldives.
With his wealth of expertise, Nilsson is tasked with driving operational excellence, strategic growth, resource optimisation, and team engagement, while ensuring an exceptional guest experience and enhancing operational cohesion.
A seasoned professional
Nilsson, a Swedish hotelier with an affable view on life, is no stranger to Maldives.
With over 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality, he has managed luxury hotels and resorts across Asia, Indian Ocean and the Pacific with notable brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Soneva, Six Senses, Conrad and Anantara.
Prior to joining COMO, Nilsson served as chief executive at Banwa Private Island, an exclusive estate in Palawan, Philippines.
