Who was on stage?
American maverick rock icon Jack White was the closing headliner on the Harbourflap Stage, ending this year’s festival with an unforgettable set. The Harbourflap Stage also hosted memorable performances from British psychedelic pop-rockers Glass Animals, enigmatic J-Pop vocalist yama and Thai singer-songwriter Violette Wautier, among others.
The Hang Seng Stage, meanwhile, hosted an electrifying headline set from trailblazing UK DJ/producer Jamie xx, as well as Japanese post-rock masters toe, Taiwanese rockers Gigantic Roar and Dutch psychedelic rockers Yīn Yīn. Sunday’s other highlights included Hong Kong post-hardcore act An Id Signal, Xi’an post-punks FAZI and emerging US shoegaze star Wisp at the Park Stage by Martell, and acclaimed UK DJ Yung Singh and British electronic duo Y U QT at the Electriq Stage.
In addition to the live music, there were also workshops and activities for festival-goers of all ages, from Drum Jam and Animal Flow to Communal Frequencies by i_is_one and the Kids’ Disco & Parade.
