China introduces 144-hour visa-free policy

The Chinese government introduced a new policy granting visa-free entry for 144 hours to citizens from 54 nations, including major countries in Europe and North America.

Citizens of nations covered by the policy may freely explore 23 key cities within China without needing to go through the complicated visa application and approval process.
