Cathay Pacific to fly Hong Kong to Ningbo from 1 August
With its unique position of having deep roots in Hong Kong, being proudly part of China and connecting the world, Cathay Pacific is excited to announce it will be launching direct flights between Hong Kong and Ningbo starting 1 August 2024. The airline will operate four return flights per week with its state-of-the-art, two-class Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Flight CX956 will operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, departing from Hong Kong at 11:00 and arriving in Ningbo at 13:20. The return flight CX955 will then depart Ningbo at 14:30 and arrive back in Hong Kong at 16:50.
This new service will provide greater connectivity for our customers travelling between the two cities, while also enabling our customers in the Chinese Mainland to connect to the world through the Hong Kong hub. Cathay Pacific’s new Ningbo service also complements the daily flights operated by HK Express to the city. The two airlines combined are operating up to 226 return flights per week to 19 destinations in the Chinese Mainland this summer.
So far in 2024, Cathay Pacific has added Chennai, Colombo and Barcelona to its global network, with Riyadh launching on 28 October 2024 and its seasonal Cairns service returning on 17 December 2024. Meanwhile, HK Express has added Beijing (Daxing), Bangkok (Don Mueang), Sanya and Clark to its network this year.
