The popular European itineraries offered by Carnival Cruise Line will be increased next year with the introduction of three new home ports for the Carnival Legend.
The first of the cruise line’s 17 new itineraries is a 12-day transatlantic journey departing from Baltimore on April 15, 2024. This sailing will include visits to Ponta Delgada, Malaga, and Valencia.
When the Carnival Legend arrives in Europe, she will begin a range of cruise itineraries departing from Barcelona (Spain), Civitavecchia (Italy), and Dover (United Kingdom) (UK). There is a wide range of cruises available, including one that sails the Mediterranean for eight days and departs from Barcelona, one that sails Western Europe for nine days and departs from Barcelona, one that sails the British Isles for nine days and departs from Dover, and one that sails the Greek Isles for ten days and departs from Civitavecchia.
Legend will depart Europe on 26 October 2024, after the end of the 2024 Europe season. Upon her return to the United States, she will conduct her operations out of her new home port in Tampa, Florida.
On the way back to the United States, she will stop at Cartagena, Funchal, Ponta Delgada, and Nassau on her transatlantic repositioning cruise.
President Christine Duffy noted that “this extensive series for 2024 offers an excellent variety of itinerary lengths and options for our valued guests who want to experience Europe in the best way possible: with our amazing crew providing outstanding service along with all of the favourite venues aboard a Fun Ship.”
“Our guests who sail with us in Europe enjoy exploring diverse and spectacular destinations across the continent while simultaneously enjoying the comfort and convenience of having the amenities they know and love available to them on board,” she added. “
