Starting from 1 July 2017, British Airways will fly twice a week to Pula, Istria in Croatia from London Heathrow.
Undiscovered and situated in the westernmost county of the Republic of Croatia, Pula is the capital of Istria, a luscious green county with rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves, and the largest peninsula of the Adriatic.
The beauty of Istria not only lies in its natural splendour, but also in its seclusion and authenticity. Unlike other parts of Croatia, a holiday in Istria is an escape from the large crowds of tourists and packed beaches. The new flights will increase the ease of access to this beautiful part of the world.
Daniela Fanjkutic, marketing manager for Istria Tourist Board said “This new British Airways route to Pula is a huge boost for Istria, which continues to be a popular destination for UK visitors with its fantastic food scene, abundance of outdoor activities, as well as a rich cultural history.”
