Boringdon Hall, often referred to as the “enchanted place on the hill,” is a remarkable fusion of Elizabethan architecture and contemporary elegance. Over the past few years, the hotel has made significant investments in enhancing its offerings, including the development of the award-winning Gaia Spa and the introduction of the Michelin restaurant, Àclèaf.

Michelin Star Dining
Boringdon Hall’s signature restaurant Àclèaf is a destination in its own right, having earned a Michelin Star in 2024 for a second consecutive year. The restaurant is a key dining destination in the Southwest food scene, with travellers visiting from afar to try their award-winning menu. Having joined Boringdon Hall in 2016, Head Chef Scott Paton has curated an extended four-course menu, signature dishes include Chicken Liver with brioche, Crab curry with mango, Highland Wagyu with peas, and decadent Chocolate caramel and sesame.
New Wellness Suites
Boringdon Hall is not only a dining destination, with wellness also taking centre stage, thanks to the recent launch of their wellness suites, following a multimillion wellness project. This comprises of 12 wellness rooms, 2 wellness suites, and an additional relaxation room and hot tub.
The hotel hosts 55 rooms and suites in total, and alongside Àclèaf, guests can dine at the 2 AA rosette Mayflower Brasserie during their stay. Guests will be steeped in history throughout their stay, walking in the footsteps of Henry Grey, Duke of Suffolk, Sir Francis Drake, and Sir Walter Raleigh.
