Ben Mellor to take helm of The EVE Hotel Sydney
Sydney’s newest boutique luxury hotel opens its doors in the fourth quarter of this year
TFE Hotels announced the appointment of Ben Mellor as general manager of its newest luxury boutique hotel The EVE Hotel Sydney.
Mellor brings a wealth of leadership and expertise to his new role thanks to over two decades in the luxury hospitality sector.
His impressive resume includes senior management positions at Sydney’s top five-star hotels, including Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains and, most recently, as the InterContinental Sydney Double Bay where he served as general manager.

Located at the crossroads of Redfern and Surry Hills, Sydney’s newest boutique hotel destination will boast of 102 elegantly designed guest rooms; a curated art collection; a landscaped rooftop deck complete with 20-metre swimming pool; a rooftop bar and Mexican restaurant with mezcaleria and poolside dining; as well as a lower-level lobby bar operated by The EVE’s food and beverage partners Liquid & Larder.
