The Azamara Onward’s 155-night World Voyage, which sets sail in early 2024, has been given even more reasons to look forwards to by the ultra-luxury cruise company. The cruise line has announced fourteen unique events that will take place while passengers are on board.
On the Azamara Onward World Voyage in 2024, passengers will be completely immersed in the destination thanks to Azamara’s 14 AzAmazing Celebrations and three World Voyage events. Examples include “Croatia’s Past and Present” in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and “The Magang Resort Mini Festival” in Madang, Papua New Guinea. There are also exclusive World Voyage events, including in Turkey and India.
According to Azamara President Carol Cabezas, “each of these special celebrations is uniquely tailored to each destination,” allowing guests to experience local culture and traditions in extraordinary settings like the Acropolis Museum in Greece and the Nassif House in Saudi Arabia.
Travellers to Papua New Guinea may experience the Madang Resort’s version of the country’s annual Cultural Festival. This exclusive event will highlight each indigenous people’s unique musical style, linguistic nuances, ceremonial dances, and sartorial practises.
Dubrovnik’s old town is where guests will spend an evening in Croatia, sipping sparkling wine and watching street performers, such as a local vocal trio, perform the traditional music known as “klapa” (pronounced “klopah”).
The 592-foot-long, 30,277-ton Azamara Onward will set sail from Fort Lauderdale on 5 January 2024, taking 684 passengers on a 155-night cruise around the world to enjoy unforgettable celebrations.
If there are any more interested, the epic world cruise is sold out. There are still passengers on the waiting list, but Azamara is working on adding some last-minute staterooms.
With the extension of AzAmazing announced recently, Azamara President Carol Cabezas is “pleased to share these carefully crafted events” that will make Azamara Onward’s inaugural World Voyage an experience to remember.
The World Voyage has a special event called “Unique Beauty and Wild Extravagance at the Taj Mahal” in Mumbai, India.
The global Voyagers will have a whole day experiencing this wonder, flying there in style and being guided about its history and design. There will be a lunch and some local acts to enjoy.
Visitors to “The Turkish Flame” event in Istanbul, Turkey’s second-largest underground cistern, will be treated to traditional Turkish cuisine, drinks, and lively, updated performances of traditional folk dances. Azamara guarantees that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The 1999-built Azamara Onward is the eldest of the four cruise ships operated by the company. The other ships in the fleet are the Azamara Pursuit, Azamara Quest, and Azamara Journey.
