Indonesia AirAsia Extra, the long-haul low-cost carrier, will launch its first flights to India this week.
On Friday 19 May 2017, the airline will start flying from Bali to Mumbai, via Kuala Lumpur. Services will run daily using a 377-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft, and passengers will be offered two cabin classes, with a limited number of flat-bed seats in the premium section.
Flights will depart Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport every day at 11510 and arrive in Mumbai at 2135, including a one-hour stop in KL. On the return leg, services will leave India’s commercial capital at 2250 and arrive back in Bali at 1045, again with a one-hour layover in KL.
The new route will be followed later in May by the launch of Indonesia AirAsia Extra’s first flights to Japan. Services to Tokyo Narita Airport are due to commence on 24 May 2017.
