Lochgoilhead Lodges, owned by Argyll Holidays in the Scottish Highlands, has announced its new facilities as part of a multi-million-pound investment to develop its properties in the UK.
Argyll Holidays is a family-owned business which operates luxury lodges and holiday parks, taking in about 50,000 guests per year. It has been operating since 1968, starting with six caravans on a piece of ground at Lochgoilhead, and later turning it into a holiday village.
As the family business grew and opportunities came, their number of holiday parks expanded to eight locations. Currently, the family is managing hotels and holiday parks and has recently put up a big sum to ramp up its accommodation business.
Part of the GBP 6.5 million investment, the lodge features a newly-developed Leisure Complex which includes The View restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water and an outdoor terrace. Additionally, there are brand new facilities such as The Sequoia Spa & Gym which has three treatment rooms and a relaxation room, and a purpose-built area for conferences, weddings and events, with space for small, private meetings to large conferences and events for up to 150 guests.
Lochgoilhead Lodges is part of the Hoseasons Go Active Breaks Collection, designed for families who are looking for a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities at 19 countryside locations across the UK.
Hoseasons is a UK-based self-catering accommodation provider with over 31,000 places to stay in coastal and countryside settings. From lodges and parks to boats, cottages and apartments, the brand accommodates over 1.5 million holidaymakers and more than 88,000 pets every year.
“Another great option for agents looking to sell breaks to Scotland”
Mark Warnes, property and portfolio director at Hoseasons, said: “It’s great to see Argyll Holidays making such a commitment to its on-site facilities and further improving their offering to holidaymakers wanting to visit the area. The leading facilities now at this park make it another great option for agents looking to sell breaks to Scotland. It’s a great destination for a couples weekend away, family breaks and even those wanting to travel for business.”
