APT has announced the launch of its Canada and Alaska 2018 programme.
Available to travel agents now, the brochure offers a choice of seven luxury holidays and 12 ‘premium’ options to Western Canada; and one of each to Eastern Canada.
Commenting on the new brochure, APT head of sales and commercial, Angela Waite said interest for Canada and Alaska continues to increase:
“Land touring remains at the heart of what we do in Canada, but for those visiting Western Canada an Alaskan cruise is a must-have addition.
“We offer combinations on both Luxury and Premium levels so that agents can offer a seamless holiday to their clients. In 2018 on our Luxury programme we’re offering an expanded portfolio of Freedom of Choice Touring options, thus ensuring that no two APT Canada and Alaska experiences need ever be exactly the same. Plus there is a new Premium itinerary – the 22-day Iconic Rockies – offering another option for those who like our more flexible four star journeys.”
This year’s brochure details 48 Freedom of Choice touring and dining options for APT’s Luxury journeys, which allow guests to choose from a menu of sightseeing activities at selected destinations.
For example in Banff, guests might choose to get to know the Canmore Eagles Ice Hockey team on the Ice Hockey Player for a day tour or relax and revive at the Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Banff Springs.
Alaska cruising is with Holland America Line and rail journey options include the Rocky Mountaineer and VIA Rail’s The Canadian.
The 19-day Rockies Highlights & Alaska Cruise is priced from £8,095 per person twin share. Guests on this Western Canada journey take in Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise before continuing their trip through the Rockies and across to Vancouver on the Rocky Mountaineer, on the GoldLeaf Service.
After two nights in Vancouver, guests head south to Seattle, where they embark on a seven-night Holland America Line cruise of the Inside Passage, taking in the Glacier Bay National Park, the Russian influenced Sitka and Ketchikan, the gateway to the Misty Fjords National Monument wilderness.
All APT Canada and Alaska journeys are accompanied by an APT Tour Director and prices are fully-inclusive with transfers, port charges, gratuities, and sightseeing and meals as detailed on each itinerary. APT Luxury tours are capped at 40 passengers and road travel is by luxury coach.
To celebrate the release of the Canada & Alaska 2018 programme, savings of up to £300 per couple are on offer on bookings made by 31 October 2017.
APT holidays are fully inclusive and feature return flights from the UK, sightseeing, accommodation, meals and drinks as brochured, transfers and tipping and an APT Tour Director and local guides.
