ANA Holdings named “Airline Industry Leader”

ANA Holdings (ANA HD) has announced it has been selected as a member of 2017 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World).
So far, ANA HD has been selected for the “Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific)” eight times, including in the years 2016 and 2017. However, this year marks the first time ANA HD has been selected as the top of its industry “Airline Industry Leader”, scoring highest among all airlines.
ANA HD has been recognized for its pursuit of eco-efficiency in business; its approach to risk, supply chain and brand management; customer care; its recruitment and retention practices and its human rights activities.
The DJSI is a major Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) index developed cooperatively by US-based S&P Dow Jones Indices and RobecoSAM, a Swiss investment specialist focusing on SRI, which tracks the stock performance of the world’s leading companies in terms of economic, environmental and social criteria.
In 2017, 320 companies (32 of which are Japanese) from 2,500 major corporations around the world were selected for the DJSI World.
